Go with a Thermaltake fan, they cool very effiently and I've had no problems with any of em. This LINK is a good place to check it out.

This one is not too expensive and it has some rpms on it.

i was looking at this for a case fan, but can i use that fan for the back case fan, it looks different?

My A51 came with a stock Intel CPU heatsink and fan. I have since replaced my alienware case fans (the ones at the rear of the case) with the same size Silencer brand fans, and they were somewhat quieter.

Yes. Much like beige cases and polyester leisure suits (which Aurora still wears mind you).

mj that looks real nice, what is the pump clipped to in your computer? the thing is I move my computer around alot, though. i wouldnt want to risk a leak.

What size case fan does aw come with and can i go up to a 92mm or 120mm with a lightspeed case, i dont know if they are different than the big cases?
The pump has a bracket with 2 threaded holes, I removed hard drive and thru bolted to the side of the stamping the drives slide into. Then I re-installed drive. I have since added a 120mm fan down below the HD's which pulls cool ait in the front of the predator case the radiator fan pulls its intake from this and exhausts the hot air out the upper rear of the case. With the ABIT UGURU I monitor the pump rpm which is plugged into the CPU fan pwr. I monitor the radiator fan, the Alienice fan, the lower 120mm fan, and the chipset fan. If any of the major fans rpm's decrease I get an alarm and if rpm's stop the system shuts down,

I also monitor with exteranal 3rd eye

This coming from a guy who dresses up like Elvis and gives concerts at Burger King holding a mic shaped like a large silver phallus...Aurora's leisure suits seem neuvo compared to your get-up.....but rumor has it that DB or Elvis draws quite a crowd on weekends

If you are looking for noise reduction + cooling, Zalman is the answer

so what would yall say is better the zalman or the thermal take? also i saw how the zalman has fitting problems since its so big, i have a asus board, i cant remember what model #, would mine have a problem? also have a lightspeed case and it has a funnel that channels air out the side, so the thing cant be real tall either
post #18 of 48
I recommend the zalman or the thermaltake, but go h20 if u can =P

hey Mj, wolf, DB

we should create a Alienware On H20 pictures thread =P
