Dell C800 - Any good?

For school next year, I will be getting a Dell C800, and was wondering if anyone knew anything about it. I will be storing a lot of stuff on it, like homework, microsoft programs, and some games because they let you install a couple .
Just tell me the things you know about it, as well as the bad things I should be looking out for.
Thanks, and wish me luck at Culver Academies!

I am not sure. That's just what they give us, and what I need to know about.

I have one of these and while it's outdated it's not too bad a machine.

The spec I have:

P3 850/700MHz (uses Speedstep)
512Mb RAM
10Gb HDD
16Mb ATI Mobility M3/M4
1400x1050 display
All the usual others, onboard sound, LAN, Firewire, 2xUSB 1.1, 2xPCMCIA slots, external montitor, serial, parallel, IR.
BIOS A23

Its a weighty bit of kit but well built. The thing that really starts to annoy me is how often the fan is on when I'm not really doing a great deal on it. I tend not to try any games on it but use it more for digital imaging or surfing. I've stuck a USR wireless card into it which works fine. Battery life isn't brilliant so I use two high capacity models. I get about 2-3 hours depending on what I'm doing.

Overall as I say, it an OK machine, great when it first came out. It is possible to upgrade the video to ATI Radeon 9000 Mobility 64Mb I believe but as I'm likely to be upgrading to (hopefully) an Inspiron 9300 I'm not going to bother.

Hope this helps.
