Caps lock blinking after RAM install

Hey all--

After replacing my 256 MB RAM with 1 GB from Transcend (200-pin DDR2 533 FSB, etc.), my brand new i6000D refuses to reboot, instead flashing what I believe to be the caps lock button and promptly turning off.

Any solution to this problem or redirection to another thread where this has happened to someone else would be helpful.

Check ram seated correctly. Or change back to old memory to check if problem goes.

That is a post code error, try removing and installing the new memory. If that does not work, put old memory back in and if it works return the memory. How many times does the cap lock key blink?
