Bios update problem ! NEED NEW BIOS, i cant install MCE 05

Well i installed winflash bios (the newest) 0.4 and when i retart it still says .33 . Now i didn't think thisis a problem, but i want to reinstall MCE 2005 and when i press install windows now (after finishing loading boot files) and then the system crashes swhowing me the blue screen that a problem arised and to protect the computer i have to shut down the 9880 !! i did it several times and still can't installl MCE 05.

I hope it means nth of serious problem

The .33 is the Promise Controller not the BIOS number. Hit F2 and go into the BIOS and make sure you have the Correct ATA/RAID selection. While you are also in the BIOS you can check the BIOS version Advance tab | System Information.

Well it was my first time installing on the 9880 MCE so what i had to do is to press the F6 to install the promise ATA drivers, ehh and that's it ! it crashed because of that. Now i know
