I have owned dozens of laptops in a variety of brands, and had many different laptops provided for my use at work. Without question, this is the finest I have owned. The Alienware M17x R2 is a...

Update: 1 You can currently receive credits for posting news in the notebook and desktop news sections. The Review and CR Credits are still be worked on and should be finished tomorrow. Things may go retroactive!! So get ready!
Thanks for your patients!!!
Credits!
As you can see, we have a new cash system setup. We figured there needs to be something other than the Reputation System to represent a member’s dedication and helpfulness to the forums. The result was a cash mod that can be used to acquire and spend fake money.
How do you acquire $$? There are multiple different ways for members to acquire money.
+$0.25 per post;
+$0.50 per thread:
You will automatically be given +$0.25 for every post you make and +$0.50 for every thread you make. These are self explanatory.
+$100 for an OFF-SITE review added via ReviewCP (CRs ONLY)
+$500 for notebook added via ReviewCP (CRs ONLY)
These two options are reserved strictly for the CRs or Community Rep members. (Those green named people you see floating around) These members have proven their dedication to the forums and are given exclusive rights to NBF’s backend notebook section to help keep the notebook database up to date.
+$100 for successful news post
There are two ways to post news. The first way is to post a thread in the Notebook News Section. The second way is to make a thread in the Desktop News Section. Both sections are heavily moderator and you must follow the rules when posting news so please do not spam these forums with nonsense and read the Rules Threads in each section before posting.
+$5000 for notebook/desktop review
The highest honor you can receive is posting a review. What better time to post a review when you just have purchased a new notebook or desktop. Again, these sections are heavily moderated so posting a review with one or two paragraphs is not necessarily the best way to earn credits. You may find your credits being taken away if it is not a fully successful review. Please follow this guideline if you would like some help writing a review.
-$100 for negative reputation
Finally, members will have $100 taken away from their account if they are given negative reputation. Once again, please do not abuse this option and only give out negative reputation if that member truly deserves it.
What can the $$ be used for? Well you will find out soon enough. There is still a lot to be done and changed with the forums but rest assured, these credits will be worth something soon. So start saving.
Can I trade/donate credits? Yup. To do this you can go into your userCP, and at the bottom left you will see Donations and Drawings. When you click on it you will have options to type in a Recipient, Comment and the amount of Credits to give them.
We will be changing settings over the next few days so please be patient.
Thanks much, Dave. I only see the light style when I sign on. I have not looked at it much.
