Gyros as we know them are North American not from Greece. But then corned beef and cabbage is Irish American not so much Irish proper.
I have a little Assyrian restaurant across the street from my home. I love the stuff. Kefta Ka-Bob is my current fave costs less than the Shawarma.
Hey guys how about Saginaki and buttered Greek bread?
Well, I know a lot of meat is made in my place (6000 hogs a day)
But I suppose I have no knowledge of Greek food
"Kefta" sound like a world leader or something (maybe I'm thinking "Kafka"
hehe). My sister made Moussaka once, and my other sister kept calling it "Mufasa", from the Lion King
