YES! I love 'em all iterations.

Must say that Bill Bruford is who tweaked my ear originally...hence the Yes, King Crimson, Gong, UK, Allan Holdsworth, Earthworks freak that I am. Yes is one of those bands that, though after their best album "Close To The Edge" and losing their superstar drummer, what did they do? Tales of Topographic Oceans...a killer two album set. Then they lose their superstar keyboardist and what do they come up with? One of the best of all times "Relayer".

For example "Sound Chaser" w/Alan White and Patrick Moraz

Nice! But I did forget about Zappa?

One that I highly recommend if you don't already have is Allan Holdsworth's "Road Games". I think it was originally released as an "EP" 1983? Good stuff, Jack Bruce on bass on a tune or two.

Got lucky and met Chad Wackerman at a Drum Seminar Houston, TX 1985. He is the awesome drummer on some of the tunes on Road Games. Ahh I'm even boring myself now...

Frank Zappa was an original and a "musical genius".

So is Leslie West...gotta give a shout out for this "Mountain" concert. Yes, it was audience recorded by me with a point and shoot...but as I watch it over and over again, it's historic! Obama was announced the winner when they break into the national anthem.

All that BS aside, just watch the stage action...very nice. At one point the drummer looked directly at me like "OK your next for the stick in the face action". But I guess my vibe wasn't exactly rite. He was "sticking" the fine looking young girls, not the old hippie bastids.

Two other things I would point out...when the drummers drumstick breaks off at his cymbal/the bassist gets hit smack in the left temple, and when Leslie West catches the drummers stick and then lofts it behind his back to the audience...Loves me some Leslie West!

Sorry qhn the money machine said something about "exceeding daily limit"? I was cashing a check for my bud's wife. Worked before? So anyway maybe tomorrow?

Not a bad day here in Chi-Town. Wearing a fleece and some sun? Not bad I will take.

Oh chuck ... timing always deludes me It is dark, dreary and wet here at the moment; the sun was nowhere to be seen today .. what a lousy weather forecasting.

I can answer that. I took colour theory in college.

White = all colours
Black = absence of colour

Dinner was simple and good. This lady of mine is quite low-maintenance sometimes, minus her being picky at times on meals ...
