We set ours low, because it is so expensive. We keep the central air at 62 degrees.

Why type of heat do you have? Ours is all electric.

Typical Europe, oil based heating, no central. Each room has its own controlled heating "plate"

Central Forced Air Gas Heating here, of course the Air is tied into the same Forced Air system.

Electrical based Heating is way too expensive.

For this climate you would be looking at a furnace running on a 200 amp circuit. eek lol.

Maybe you need a nice cosey Wood Fireplace
