Good late evening, DRT. Back from the wedding. The reception
took forever. The food was piss poor also. The did have alcohol though.

The ceremony and church was fine. The reception was held at a museum.
The alcohol was served before the food. Everything there took forever.
The food especially. It was served in four courses. All of it bad pretty much.
The third course was the meat. It was chicken and beef.
The beef was very undercooked. We left before the cake cutting.

I hope your evening went well.

Well at least over and the couple can get on and enjoy life.

Out of curiosity about the beef. Are you a guy who likes medium and above? I do not like very rare but do like medium rare. Or was this just under cooked period?

Mine was fine, but everyone at our table had undercooked.
I like my steaks medium rare.

They looked like a very nice couple. I do hope they have a nice life together.

More of the cold and bumping with shoppers Can't afford heavy gifts since it would be heavy $ for shipping

Buffets are always the best choice for get-together if there are so many peoples, I think. No cake? I love sweets ...

Well the snowing stopped on the northern part, but pounding on the south ... Good day for a walk around town again, discovering some hiding corners ...

True, they probably could not wait for the party to be over. I like rare when there is really a good reliable piece of meat ... undercooked is a different story altogether ...

Not much snow here. In fact, it's all melted already. Toronto is known to have it's own atmosphere *cough* *hack* lol

That's probably one of the known rules of cooking: if the food is bad, cover it with alcohol

I know what you mean. I have to watch every gram when I'm sending stuff to my friends. You go over by a little, and the price of shipping doubles! Many times the shipping is worth more than the package

Have a good day... I'm off to work... on a Sunday
