If qhn is talking about DO's he is correct. But????????????? While I don't understand it I have trouble with that entire "balance" thing or always a "fundamental" cause? Last DO I went to recommended 1000mg Ibuprofens and physical therapy. I blew it off for a couple days then went there and tried said I can't do. Turns out when he got the results. Fracture tibia no ACL cartilage damage. No more Physical therapy. ACL transplant clean up the meniscus. Then PT. My coworkers do not like they are less inclined to prescribe narcotics but I know my coworkers just want narcotics.

Hang in there if you got that many interviews bound to land one.
I wish the same for him. For you powerpack, have you tried the joint supplements? I used to take a ton of drugs for my herniated disk.

DO's certainly have a different outlook than traditional MD's. IMO, they deserve more pub than they've been getting in the public's eye and academic community. Around here anyways, DO's are a lot fewer than MD's.

Thanks man. Yea, I've been told statistically I should've had about 5-6 acceptances by now from my pre-med and med student friends. It's just been mind-boggling since my interviews were huge strengths (helped land a lot of jobs at medical research labs anyways). Got a few I haven't heard from so hopefully they're the 5.

That's true. But the former degree tends to thrill the significant other's parents (at least those who aren't really in the know) into submission a bit more in my experience.

I've got a couple of friends who went the DO route. I'd say they're learning the same and having a better time than the MD students. Speakin of Stanford, I gave them a pass this year from my football curse (they won for the 1st time in 4 years) but it's back on.
We have a ton of DO's here. I see two. My dad is a disabled DO.

How? Born in England to my uncle/British and my aunt/US. Canada and Britain allow Dual between those two. Loophole but not really. My cousins are US by birth so they did/do not have to renounce anything they are. A naturalized US citizen I believe needs to renounce. By the way my cousins are in Canada have never lived in the US and likely never will.

Anyway regardless of the why or how I have two cousins with tri and passports to prove. Kinda funny. You come into the States you show a US passport you go back to Canada you show Canadian, Britain show British. Anywhere else roll the dice.

Edit: qhn I think we can get dual but it depends on the country we want to do. I also think Canadian/US might be possible but not sure. Gie me time and I will way over research. Got more cousins I must think.
I know nothing about that.

Take glucosamine/condroitin. It is does not work immediately. It is the only thing that helps my arthritic/broken wrist. Arthritis in my spine also. I think I have the spelling correct there. Knox nutrajoint is one. I take pills now. Knox can be mixed into drinks.

Cali has 2 schools though they tend to be in pretty far from where I am. Most of their graduates tend to gravitate around there so finding a DO willing to offer shadowing is pretty hard.
