I like Italian food.
Italian food is good, Greek is better for me (well the free Ouzo and all).

I am spoiled now with the good public transportation system that I have a hard time adjusting back to driving when I am home in SoCal.

Well it looks like I might be moving to New York State due to the wife transferring roles. Now I need to figure out where I can get a job up there.

My sister in law hates that state. Good luck if you do have to move. That sounds like a pain. Good luck with the job thing.

Does your company has a satellite office in New York State? Where about will you be moving to?

I work for a university doing research, so there's not really any satellite system in place for that. I do have contacts all over and I might be able to squeeze something out of that.

As to where in the state, that's still sort of up in the air. Wife can pretty much live anywhere since she'll be working largely out of home when she's not in direct client contact and her area will cover most of NY, some of Penn, conn, ri, and mass. Right now the plan is sort of to try and go where ever I can get something going. Hopefully I can figure something out.

Really wanting to stay out of NYC

Too bad the university won't let you tele-communicate on the research project with meetings now and then (travel). Good luck in the home place decision, NYC can be tough but it can also be charming to live in.
