...and yes, this whole visa thing is really frustrating. Why is it the only friends I have are citizens of countries that require visas to enter Canada? It doesn't matter what my friend wants to do over here (work, study, or just visit), she'll need a temporary visa at the least, and we've already seen one get denied. It doesn't matter how interested my company is in hiring her

...and ironically, I just spoke with her, and she's not adverse to staying in Canada for a few years (instead of 3 months), but will talk to her family. If that works, then it would be easier to get a visa, I think (i.e. the company would create a position and offer her full time work).

And yes, there is that whole "marriage to a german / canadian national" option... but neither of us have even spoken about it (to each other) lol

Good afternoon, DRT. My wife had gone AWOL. I have no clue where she is.
She came back to the house and left after I said that I would relax with some cold ones.
This has been no problem before.
