They sell them here on base. Probably because there are many people (like myself) who were stationed in Germany at one time or another.

If not that beer, they probably had other German beers. Keep in mind these are bottles, not taps.

Nah, no German beers in Lackland. Not in the commissary that we went to anyway. Probably at some base pubs.

The Commissaries never have alcohol. There is a place on every base called "The Package Store" or the "Class Six". That is where the alcohol is located. Wines, beers, etc, from all over the world.

The one I'm getting is "firm". And I found out it's not made with pocket coils, but the better triple-offset, which provides better support and longevity. I'm getting the Euro-top, which adds comfort, but doesn't hamper the support of the mattress. Well, however it turns out to be, it'll be leagues better than this cheap futon I've been sleeping on for years.
