(private) zoo here in HH is simple too expensive, almost $70 per person The good cheap ones are out in the countryside ...

Hope you had a good time there.

Nice to hear Larry. Maybe it's time for me to take the lady to visit Berlin Zoo soon.

I was there once. I wasn't too impressed, but then again, I'm never really impressed by any large inter-city zoo. I much prefer the wild zoo's, like the "African Lion Safari" here outside the city.

If you want to go somewhere nice in Berlin, might I suggest the Botanical Gardens. It's such a nice relaxing place

We visit often the Botanical Gardens here in HH, and it is always nice. Lots of walking, and lots of nice corners to see. We mostly visited to pubs and museums every time we went to Berlin.

That sounds nice. The botanical gardens in Fort Worth are very nice. We have been there a couple of times.

Yeah, I admit the museums in Berlin are nice. I especially like th technical museum. I could stay in there for days lol

Pubs, you can find anywhere in Germany. I don't think there's anything special about the ones in Berlin, compared to other places. I'd still love to hit Plzen, though

If you want other touristy spots in Berlin, have a look at Schloss Charlottenburg, or better yet, head to Sansoucci in Potsdam. Potsdam actually has many nice spots, including Schloss Babelsburg and Schloss Cecilienhof (sp?).

Postdam is cool. The new Sony Centre is always my fav spot. Berlin pub - one place that I always come back to - is known for Eisbein
