Opening ceremony already??? I thought that was tomorrow before the first match?

Well, it is according to the broadcast over here.

I picked up a DVD recorder. Couldn't find a dvd-only recorder with digital tuner, but got the guy to knock $50 off the combo DVD/VCR recorder, which also has a digital tuner. Now I can record hi-def OTA (cable companies can stick it!), even if it is down-converted during recording. I picked up this one:

Now I'm just testing the timer recording before setting up the schedule for tomorrow. Also picked up a pack of DVD+DL's so I can fit up to 3 matches on a disc at half decent quality.

Time to check the recording, and set up a schedule...

I hope it meets you expectation's. I used to record music and some satellite programs. No more though.
Most stuff that I need to record, I can get for free.I just do not record anything now.
