It’s always filled to capacity for both lunch and supper. Barely renovated over time, the décor has kept its original character.

Authentically Traditional
Since 1928, Schwartz’s has kept the authenticity of its tradition. Unlike other delis that use preservatives, Schwartz prepares its smoke meat in the traditional manner, with a secret blend of herbs and spices, marinated for 10 days.

A Famous Feast
The grilled meats and steaks from Schwartz’s have delighted many international music, movie, and sports stars… and a number of American chefs! Celine Dion, Nana Mouskouri, Jean Chrétien, Ken Dryden, Jerry Lewis, Guy Lafleur, Jean Béliveau, Halle Berry, Angelina Jolie, The Rolling Stones… The list of celebrity guests at Schwartz’s is pretty impressive.

The Incomparable Schwartz
Eat on location or at home… Schwartz’s even has a catering service, so you can discover their internationally renowned smoked meat. If you’re in Montreal, don’t miss this restaurant.
Noted.

You are not kidding here, I drove from Riverside to Solvang just for breakfast/brunch ...

I like smoked stuffs (fish and meat) - Sunday Fischmarkt from 5:00-9:30 is a treat for such things, cheaper then going into a store. And farmers' market every Wednesday and Friday as well.

I am at a disadvantage here, reading these food talks so early in the morning - 3 hours to go before lunch and I am starving already ...

Good morning, DRT. More shoulder therapy this morning. It is still sore at times. A heat advisory frocasted through the weekend.

This heat wave is never going to end. I've seen the forecast for the next week, and it's all the same: Humidity to make it feel like 35C+

Heading to a pub after work for a pint, then going to see "Inception". The premise looks very cool, and they say it's the movie of the year.
