Evening

Good job on the credit, Larry

I have another visit with the dentist tomorrow. Luckily it's covered 80% by my work benefits. I do have a limit of $1500 of coverage a year, which means the major stuff will have to wait until next year (already used up most my coverage for this year).

Gotta check my budget, but may finally be able to get an air conditioner tomorrow. This 30C weather is just outright aggravating. And it's been like this the whole summer... even in the middle of the night, making sleeping uncomfortable.

it's definitley been a warm summer this year, My AC has been on a fair bit since May.

You going for a Window type or a Portable type

Good evening, DRT. We had a nice Mogolian syle dinner. I also walked the puppy and did a cardio/legs/arms workout.

No warmer than usual here. We have dual central A/C units though.

It is definitely hard to sleep when it is warm. I know certain
areas are warmer than normal this year. Good luck getting your unit.

They did it without me even contacting them. It surprised me.

Good luck with your dentist visit.

Hey all =) finally get a bit of down time for a while. Just got moved completely into the new house here in Bloomington IL, it's a nice place.

Plus I have the whole basement all to myself and it's something like 1100 square feet down in the basement. I'm attempting to make myself a small gaming lair down here

Things are at least looking up a bit now, girlfriend is finally back to playing nice again lol, and I don't have the stress of class for a few weeks!

Enjoy the new home and some stress free time

All you need now is a sweet Gaming rig and a 30 inch monitor lol

Budget says uh-uh. Would've gotten a portable one... they're on sale for $300. A window one, while more efficient, would've cost me more (I need a vertical window one), for half the BTU's.

Nevertheless, it's going to have to wait until maybe next year.

I have to say I'm pretty happy with the current desktop I have, my XPS 420. Just recently put in a new 460GTX and I'm enjoying it =) it's certainly no 480, but then again i also only have a 1680x1050 resolution to refresh . I do have to say, I'd love to have a 30 inch monitor, mostly just for all of that real-estate.

Want to give me yours?

A GTX 460 is on the same list as the air conditioner now (The "not this year, bub" list). The thing is, I've already got a couple extra spare parts, and so it would just make more sense to build a whole new PC (my hard drives are getting full, ram is being gobbled up, etc).
