Cool, but I am not doing any upgrades anytime soon.

Crazy for me too. A nail in my tire made for a long afternoon with no break.
I hope your dinner was better than mine.

Yes, but I do not see a reason to upgrade.

I like the Apple TV.

I put that name on the list, won't visit it next time when I am home. Mattress too hard?
Or you found some bed bugs

We will have rain on and off the next few days, temp will stay in the mid 50s - pleasant.

No Larry, there is never a reason for upgrade, only to satisfy our urges of having new dings - their smell is attractive

Too long. I need the standard size, so it will fit in my HTPC case. That also rules out any with elaborate cooling pipes extending overtop the card. I've pretty much settled on an EVGA (because of warranty, etc), and can get a 1GB EE (external exhaust) for around $250, or 10-15 more for the superclocked version.

Looks like I will need a PSU to go with it, though, as they say it needs 24A on the 12V rail, and my current PSU, while having enough watts, only does 20A on the 12V.

My goal is to get the card and PSU for $300.
