Buy yeah, spammers are on the list of people I'd like to see have their eyes gouged out by rusty nails. It seems the list gets longer every day

And you can add weatherman.

Thanks to the morons in that industry, I'm stuck at work with no umbrella and a leather jacket... should've gone home 20 minutes ago...

Even worse, I don't have any beverages at home... and I could certainly use one right about now.

Dear me, Garb is having a stressful day. I am having a cappuccino on you matey. Keep cool.

Yeah... made it home in one piece, after waiting 1/2 hour for the rain to subside.

Spent more time changing passwords on all my sites... just in case. What a pain in the ass.

And this morning, there was a roll-over on the highway. I don't drive, and it doesn't really affect my work, but it turns out it was a truck of 230 of our hogs on their way to our plant. Looking at that, I guess they had a worse day than me... lol

Good evening, DRT. A nice pork chop dinner at
home. I also did a full body workout, beyond the huge mail day I had.
66 trays at my last stop.

That sounds like a total mess. I hope things are better there tomorrow.

I hope you can get the beverages re-stocked. The weather guys have had it easy here the last few days.

That is pretty hard core punishment.

I get a lot of gruff for having a Dell. A lot of my friends and family are MAC users and think that is the end all, be all. I have to be honest, I have loved my Dell from day one and still do! It has always performed well, has been extremely durable and has never had any major issues. I am in the market for a new notebook but not because I have not been satisfied with the one I have. I am very loyal and see myself sticking with Dell. Anybody have any advice on what Dell notebooks are best right now? I need something durable, with a lot of space to store documents, etc. and something that has very good reviews.

Good morning, DRT. Another great day weather wise. I have a few things to do this morning. I trip to the pharmacy among other things.

I guess the 2 big ? are what do you want to do with the laptop, and what is your price range ?

Monday was not a good day for us here as well, nothing clicked - Made up with today's canal boat ride and 1/2 day at work.

@dave

I use my laptop for everything ... I do a lot of work on it and also keep personal information stored on it. I want something that will be dependable no matter where I am and something that is very user-friendly.

Price range is between $500-1000, depending on the laptop and the bells and whistles. I'm willing to go a little higher for better quality.
well in that price range you have several options

assuming your looking at a 14-15 inch size screen.

Inspiron 15, and 15r laptops are in the price range offer a basic and simple laptop config, I would suggest the ATI GPU option, which is far better than the on board Intel Graphics option.

The Studio line offers a nicer looking unit, and the optional Lighted Keyboard is a great, The only thing I dislike on the studio line is the slot load DVD drives, which can be a pain compared to the easier tray loaders found in the inspiron line. but thats a minor issue.

If your more into the buisness lline, the Vostro line is a nice rugged laptop and at a good price. Not all models have the optional GPU, but if you can stick top the ones that do it really can make a difference on the programs that need some GPU power behind it.
