True, but they got us to boost them past some of the lower levels too don't they

Just out o' curiosity, how many dots do you need before the Rep Experiment folks won't laugh so hard your ear drums burst?

Kevda, the answer is one. Every single user started out as "a noob, but everyone loves noobs", and got to multi-dot stratusphere status by giving and recieving rep. The only entrance fee into the rep thread is doughnuts (don't ask me why. I know Danforth loves them). Post a picture of them in your first or second rep thread post, and you're golden.

Oh, and AFAIK my rep's worth 150, plage is worth ~500. But Luke@PCTorque's is worth about 16K.

really anyone is welcome in the rep thread, it helps though to have over 100 posts and a good start on your reputation already...and djembe's right about donuts, they're always appreciated...

...the one thing to remember is that it really is a tight knit bunch of people...the thread itself was started back in January and is now approaching 16,500 posts. So come by and give us a visit if you want, and enjoy the semi-intelligent/coherent conversation.

...and X30, this thread is a good idea, and if you (Dell dudes) just want to get back to normal rep after being spammed in some flame war, then I would recommend that you just continue doing what you guys are doing here.

It is, but you can only give out 10 per 24 hours. If you don't give out reps until this time or a little later, you should be able to give out all 10.
