Nate, if you repped me, you need to leave your name in the comment so that you can be repped back. I was just repped with no name in the comment.

I always rep anonymously, I don't want anyone to feel like they owe me something.

I'm one of those guys that will save a baby from a burning building and then disappear before anyone can give me credit.
I paid you back anyway.

This is what i've been playing all day. I'm sure most of you know what MAME units are, I decided I wanted to be able to play the arcade games without building an arcade style enclosure that takes up a lot of space. I picked up this XArcade two player joystick at Fry's for $149. I'll be returning it because I ordered the HotRod Joystick for $99 and from various MAME forums it's MUCH higher quality than the XArcade joystick. Anyone that likes the old arcade games you will LOVE playing them on an arcade style joystick. My buddy is burning me 12GB (over 3000) working arcade roms. The emulator I use is called MAME32 and a couple free rom sites are romnation.net and rom-world.com. You can play them on your keyboard but it isn't nearly as fun.

Hey, I have that game for NES. Just gotta steal it back from parents so I can play it. Gonna look up those sites now.

What's awesome is almost all the games are two player, plus you can play drunk because you have infinite credits Quite a few games are four player but it seems like you have to build your own joystick if you want a four player one. I beat Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles with my friend last night, had we been at a real arcade I'd be $20 poorer

A few of the games I've downloaded are X-MEN, Simpsons, Rampage, Pang, NBA Jam, Michael Jackson's Moonwalker, Marvel vs Capcom, Metal Slug 3, Mortal Kombat 1, 2, and 3, Golden Axe, Gauntlet.

If anyone can think of some other arcade classics let me know because I've been having trouble remembering all the games I used to play at the arcade.

Hmmm...I was able to beat that game with one credit.

Bad Dudes, Double Dragon, Pac-Man, Galaga, ...I'll try to think of more...
