repped out to the tune of "I can't decide" by Scissor Sisters. If anyone who saw Dr Who S3E13 was wondering what the tune was ...

CStrad was todays 11th click, get you later.

No, its too thin. Not enough space.

It is possible to get a hdd adapter to go where your cd/dvd goes; it uses pata drives, though.

Good timing too, because now I can watch some live streaming soccer games
Sweet! Yeah, I remember going from 128k (twin chanel ISDN) to 1Mbit adsl and then 4Mbit adsl. Big difference. Currently on 20Mbit adsl

So your options are:
  1. try and get the shop to exchange it
  2. sell it and buy another
  3. get an expresscard eSATA II card and an external enclosure
  4. get an expresscard eSATA II raid card, another disk as well, and a larger external enclosure

And thanks for the rep.

i think what i will likely do is buy an extra caddy so I can just swap the 2 drives as i need them. I'll keep one for school and gaming and the other for strictly recording work.

@ Drinkmore...Qt alternative worked fine for me in ff IIRC

Arg, I didn't know the extra HD had to be PATA...I was just getting one shipped to me free and thought I could have two internals when I wasnt using my slot loader. I guess I could always spend money but where's the fun in that?

Benchmarked my XPS2 today and it ran 6590 3dmark05 @ 558/690 which isnt shabby but still not a record. The record is 6818 @ 575/725 and the guy must have the best core they ever made.

Be proud of your score

Yeah, I figured I'd dog my card out one last time since I'm giving it to a friend

Edit: Actually, I think I'm about to destroy that guy's score....I had another ultra that I thought was balls after a few reboots (I was never sitting at the computer for the reboot). I just pulled out the card now though and it runs 565 on the core without a single artifact. Root for me.
