or rather I'm thinking of installing it on my general purpose drive. my audio drive will stay on XP until ProTools releases the new version later this summer...

Yeah... don't

64-bit is a waste... too many headaches for what you get out of it (which isn't much at the moment).

If you're just looking for something to do, try installing a multi-boot of OSX, Vista and Linux LOL

Driver issues up the rear. I would not suggest it, it certainly appears to be a psychotic mess of issues and is just not worth the effort.

so basically, the only hardware i will need to worry about is the stock hardware. the only peripherals i plan on using are my HP Color LaserJet 4550N (which can be printed to via IP), my CanoScan N656U, Logitech QuickCam Express and Logitech MX1000 Bluetooth Laser mouse.

Haha, now I'm glad I stayed up instead of going back to sleep. Was just watching some people trying to prove bullshit theories like dividing by zero to prove 1 = 2. Anyway, one of the responses to the video was that only Chuck Norris can divide by zero and I just bust out laughing.
