Operating System not found!!!?????

Rebooted after installing some older NV drivers, and bam, I got that message. Now my first reaction was ... wtf, all I did was reboot. No joggling of the case and what not. So I dug deeper, and the problem was that the bios reset itself. The SATA controller was set to RAID mode instead of ATA. I switched it to ATA and it booted up just fine.

Now... although its working OK now (aside from the other night when the screen started blinking out of control on and off .. fluke?), why would the BIOS reset itself? I got this unit about a week ago.

Maybe the NV drivers also included a bios rev for the card and reset it then.
