All games have Video Lag Spike

Recently I have noticed that all of my games get a video lag spike about once every 5 min or so. Basically, everything freezes up for about 1-3 seconds and then the game resumes un-effected. I updated to the latest Omega drivers. Same problem. Also, I have increased the clearance underneath my laptop. Any ideas?


I should add that I have already ran spyware removal and virus dectection.

Actually.. now that you mention it. I have noticed that happening in the past. Doesn't seem to happen anymore though.

The fans still kick in when I have the lag spikes. The CPU never goes above 60C. (Using MobileMeter). Any ideas?
