Hey Flats ...
Well, I'm not really sure, so I guess the answer is no. However, let me be more detailed:
1. the only applications I'm using, so far, on my Sager 9860, is Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Publisher, Front Page, Power Point). I'm not doing, yet, any high intesity gaming.
2. I don't have nor know how to get any benchmarking software to where I took measurements before and after.
HOWEVER, it seems, and I repeat "SEEMS" as if my laptop is running cooler. It just doesn't feel as warm as it did before.
I had read somewhere that the 76.50 driver had some sort of bug that was a heat problem. True or not, I can't say, but I can share my "perceptions" that this system is running cooler.
I tried installing that software temperature utility written about in these forums, but I didn't know how to complete the blanks (it was asking specific questions about processor etc that I didn't know how to answer). So again, with this, I don't have any objective pre and post installation measurements to share.
Hope this answers your questions.
