zd8000 screen question

I'm getting ready to order a zd8000, however, I'm not sure what screen to get... either the Brightview 1440x900 or the brightview 1680x1050. I'm a big gamer and this computer will be for gaming and watching movies while I'm deployed(USAF). What does everyone recommend???

I'm planning on the 3.2, and 1 gig of memory, 80 gig hard drive(5400) rpm.

thanks

Well personally i never saw a difference bewteen the Brightview and normal... But the higher resolution is always nice for everything, It doesnt mean you have to run at that resolution but you have the option... But with the 1680x1050 you pay a lot more...

Some other things you need to know about the zd8000...

1) Dont expect much battery life from it, When not gaming you will get about 1 hour of life...

2) Its a beast! Its huge & its heavy...

If you have the cash, the higher resolution would be nice. I just purchased the zd8110 for my upcoming deployment (USN).

Good Luck with your deployment!

i have to tell you man, regardless of the screen , the pavilion zd8105e

so i would realy consider getting one with an nvidia card NOT THE ATI
they just have so many problems ,im personnaly sick of the crashes....

other then that i have the 1440 x920 screen and its pertty good as it is.
didnt see the diffrence but its nice to have bigger res... for sure..

Thanks for the info,
I've now gone with a Dell XPS 2, I was able to get it for the same price of an HP. Thanks for the responses.
