After about 20 minutes into the game I always crash to the desktop.

Had same issue Delta. Latest drivers fixed that (at least in non-SLI mode).

Mine worked great. Helicopter is a little tricky getting used too

First impressions....

Awesome graphics and sound...cool things to fly (heli's, jets), tanks, road vehicles (though they take a while to get used to)...big maps. Its almost a little TOO big, to where you can run around and not see any enemies for a couple minutes.

Like it so far

I'm lovin it too. I decided to hop in a chopper and figure out how to fly it on my own. Needless to say, 4 seconds later I was pointed down heading toward the ground, shot a missile and killed myself. Hmph.

hahah yeah im the same...flying is HARD! the controls arent the smartest thing ever invented. How does the voice work?? cant you talk to your team? how do you set that up?

During the initial installation, there was a chance to optimize your headset. I just grabbed my old SOCOM usb headset and plugged it in and it works fine. Only gripe I have is the music, sound effects and everything come through the headset. Is there anyways just to hear teammates through the headset and hear everything else on my 5.1 setup? I haven't played multiplayer yet commish, if you beat me to it let me know how it turns out.

dunno...couldnt hear any team members even after I configured it.

....first off you have to join a server with voice communication enabled.... then you have to join a squad and you can only talk to your squad and commander. at least in my experience.... also i do randomly get sort of a crash but its more of a server disconnect after every round hopefully it will be fixed when i get the full version....

@ defbytemptation i dont believe there is a way for that to work at least none that ive seen ive checked everything in the options as well..but i have noticed when your teammates speak it lowers all the other volume a little bit

flying really isnt to hard its the landing where you want im thinking about hooking up my joystick just for that....i only use the planes to get somewhere fast then i parachute (9) out of it and ruin someones day

Anyone know if Alienware is planning on hosting a BF2 server? Since the retail box has a AW contest/advert in it, I would guess that they have a relationship with the publisher.
If AW does host a server, how many of my fellow AW owners would 'join' a NBF-AW clan?

I would join with my hands in my groin.

Hey is it true you only can play online with high speed? Has anyone played it online with dial-up?

I'm in the clan, I'll post my AIM messenger name.

I wish I could host my own game with like 32 people...where do ALL these battlefield servers come from?
