Hrmm...I played till 2 a.m. last night. It was a lot of fun. Haven't got flying down yet. Wrecked a transport helicopter with about 4 of my team...not on purpose....I told them I didn't know what I was doing.

However, this morning I tried playing it and I can't get it to load again...I've tried about 20 different drivers from laptopvideo2go, 3dguru, tweaksrus, etc. which didn't work. Also tried the AW support forums, which didn't work either. Any ideas?

has anyone unlocked their first weapon yet? i don't approve of stat-whoring, but i'm interested in knowing what everyone's rank is?

also- any interested ppl want to play BF2 on Wednesday night? 9pm Mountain time, PM me if you are game.

Okay Guys I have a problem with BF2, nothing too big really, I tried connecting to the Notebook forums server and it told me I have a newer copy of it. errr.... Apparently I installed the patch....lol

rreally its not a problem if you ask me for all the problems itfixed the memory leak isnt a problem mine was using 800mb the other day but it was running perfectly i dont have a problem with the memory leak they did fix other problems that ticked me off

What's the best weapon to unlock...I seen a few responses on which not to get. Haven't seen any on what to get. I generally play Special Ops or Medic. Thinking about trying the special ops upgrade.

im a Lance Corporal i got the sniper... my friend has the weapon for the medic he loves it bc its fully auto

yeah, the L80/L85A or whatever (medic's weapon) is pretty cool. it has pretty much the same damage and accuracy as the m16 but the addition of semi or full auto is awesome. instead of tapping the mousebutton with 3 shot burst when assaulting a position filled with enemies, you can just hold the button down and spray.

the aiming reticle is a little hard to get the hang of at first. when you zoom, instead of a single dot or iron sight, you get a single vertical 'hair'. aiming is pretty easy, the tip of the aiming hair is exactly in the middle of the scope. i just line up the enemy with it and shoot. the gun is good on medium/long range also. you just have to aim 5 pixels higher and to the right for really long range shots.

i've been playing a LOT on tacticalgamer.com servers, i highly recommend them for real team play. since their servers are unranked, the ppl playing are serious about the teamwork aspect and not hellbent statwhores who seem to clog most of the ranked servers.

okay no one answered my question on why the notebook forum server is un-patched...I guess I just wanted to play on it...But It doesn't matter I suppose.

Each Kit (Medic, Special Ops, Engineer, etc.) Has one rifle choice by default. When your rank improves (or however) A kit will have a second rifle choice available. For each kit, there is a picture of a "lock".

and when you are ready to spawn and pick your kit, you get a little up/down arrow next to your weapon allowing you to toggle between the unlocked and normal weapon.
