I have these 15 dollar headphones and I cant stand them anymore...what is a QUALITY gaming headset for the PC?

If you aren't looking for one with a microphone - Bose QuietComfort 2

Probably too expensive, but great noise cancelling and very comfortable for hours of wear.

I have a sennheiser 150 (I think is the number)? It has a mic and has amazing sound quality. Definately worth the $70 I paid.

anyone like these?

And hey...how could you hook up those cold cathode lights and just have them on your desk..like behind the monitor, just to spice up the desk area?

I use Zalman 5.1 surround headphones for my PC and Shure 3c earbuds for my iPod/DVD tablet/PSP/laptop.

I was surprised at their quality and sound. Lot of bass too.
if you love the bass and i do...then the skull crushers are truely great. they do seem out of place size wise on my ipod mini though but i dont care because the bass is great.
But surround sound for games is awesome. The downside is the Zalmans require separate front/middle/rear plugs (discrete channels).
yeah its the sad part, i would get them and use them if only i could make use of the surround sound on my ipod. that would really rock to have an ipod with full surround sound while im out for a run.
i dont know anything about the music formats apple uses but 99% of music is only 2 channels so you wouldnt really have surround sound anyway

And people who get off their fat arse have no business using computers. Computers are only for 800 pound former sailors with one tooth and hairy backs who pretend to be hot and bothered 14 year-old girls on the internet in chat rooms . . .

What about 14 year old guys...? *Slowly tries to escape*

I hate when a headphone post turns into a paedo-post.
I use the Sennheiser HD497 headphones. They're not buds, so maybe that rules them out, but the are amazing. I use them with an Audigy 2 ZS Notebook card. Which all notebook owners should have. All of you.
