Because the motherboards (internals) have a very different layout between the Intel notebook chipsets and the AMD notebook chipsets, Clevo has to completely re-do the engineering for cooling. So the box is different between Intel and AMD. i.e. one may have CPU cooling out the right side, while the other may have it out the left side; AMD motherboards will have the CPU placed in a different spot than where Intel would place their CPU on their motherboard.
I was referring to having a chassis of that size (17" widescreen DTR) being able to handle the Prescott, so in theory one of the same size should be able to handle the higher AMD's also. Not specifically the exact same chassis. I am only using the 4750 chassis as a historical lesson of Clevo having a bad chassis for CPU's with a TDP higher than 89W.
