I ordered mine on 09/23 so feel like it's getting close to delivery time. I'm expecting a shipment tracking number any day now. Funny, but as I gt closer to shipping day I'm feeling more ... um... not even sure how to explain it -- jittery(?)

Tom Petty was right, the waiting is the hardest part!

Yeah, I ordered on 9/30. I hope it made it into the first batch of finished shells. I wonder how many people ordered painted machines around then.

Ahh man i ordered mine 10/7 with just black paint, that means i wont get it for weeks! And i thought it would arrive close to my birthday, 11/4

hmmm, no piant job here (tho if they offered BMW Merlot, I'd a gotten it!) just a fairly decent 4760 ordered 10/15. I weas told today that they it's on its way to FL and then to me....I take that as about 8-10 days....so then if it's sooner, I'll be really slappin the nanner!!

...still no tracking number. I check my email at least 5x a day now.

I am shopping for a digicam too. I've wanted one for a while, just been low on my priority till recently.

Was considering the Canon G5, but from what I've been reading the older version Canon G3 is better (picture wise) and it costs less.

They are kinda boxy looking, but they fit better in my hand than the smaller body models.

Does anyone have a G3 or a G5?
Do you get "chromatic aberations" (purple aura) with your G5?

Was considering the Canon digital rebel too. It's hecka expensive though. It will fit the lenses from my 35mm EOS Elan. But I don't like the fixed position view screen. I don't understand why Canon did not put a variable position display on this camera like on the G series cameras.

You're not the only one checking their email constantly. I was hoping it would get here before the 28th or 29th, but it looks like FFXI will beat it to my mailbox.

I ordered mine on 10/16. Was told it would ship in less than a week. But haven't heard yet. No paint job though. 5680. I can't wait either. My brother ordered one at pre-release and its an awesome machine.
