Have you got an specific model in mind? I've heard about heat issues with ASUS laptops but I haven't looked further into the topic. It's nice to know that there is some chemisty society around here .
i don't have a problem with heat. my laptop is connected via AC and it runs about 50C and fan is off. It gets a little warm but not hot.

Im about to pick up 2 of these babies tomorrow (2.13ghz, 1g ram @ 400, 80g 5200rpm hdd) ... went and saw it in person yesterday. The pics do NOT do it justice. It is the damn smallest 15" laptop ive ever seen. I think its actually thinner than my business associates sony vaio 12". Certainly around the same weight.

Damn nice. Maybe if you do some shots with something recognisable for size beside it to show really how small it is. Amazing peice of machinary. Two thumbs up!

The battery is tiny and perfectly placed! :P

Argh. 24 hours is too long! Only bad thing about it is the original bag. It should come with a leather one like the 150$ dell one.

Another question. What is the logitech mouse like? I was thinking of upgrading to the logitech bluetooth notebook mouse.

Are you in Australia? That's the only place i can seem to find the V6020V online. Also, is the screen glossy like the US v6000?

Love the outside look of it, though it's not my bag for specs.

Still, great looking item.
