Compiling a more basic list of upgrades that can be purchased 3rd Party

As I don't have a Dell Warranty book to go through, and I'm still searching for a laptop to buy, I'd like to make sure I know how to get the most for my money. I am looking to start a list of things in the laptop that can be upgraded without voiding the warranty

Currently the only two that I have read time and time again that can be upgraded are:

1. The RAM DDR2 PC2 4200 for both the XPS2 and 9300 (I don't know what Brand is best though) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...ubmit=Property)
2. The Hard Drive (though I know newegg doesn't carry the 7200 RPM laptop hard drives, haven't checked other sites so I'm not sure if you can purchase a 7200 RPM hard drive from anywhere else than Dell)

Things I would like to know about:
Internal NIC
Internal Bluetooth
Internal DVD Drive

Let me know what information you have, and if possible post a site or two where you can purchase the parts at and if it's more cost-effective to upgrade after the purchase. This is also helpful for those looking to get an Outlet purchase as you can't always get everything you want for the price you want (such as the $1800 one I just saw but it didn't have a DVD burner or internal NIC, didn't want to buy it since I didn't know if I could purchase them otherwise)

Places to purchase parts:
Zipzoomfly 7K60 for the 7K drives. It's still pretty pricey at $195 for the 7K60, might be better off ordering that while doing the Dell config (not sure if you stated you had the notebook or not).

There is a NEC internal notebook DVD burner (8x) speed at newegg, try this link: NEC Black IDE Slim.

Cheers and good luck...

Edit: change 4x to be the correct 8x, just follow the link.

Don't have the laptop yet but I've been looking through the outlet for awhile now

Constantly see some low prices with no DVD burner or no Wireless NIC or 5400 RPM hard drive

Thanks for those links I'll check them out
