5680 and Battlefield 2

Ok, this isn't really a topic that requires tech support, but I thought this might be the best place to find other 5680 owners.

Has anyone tried Battlefield 2 on their 5680 (retail version)? I've been trying to figure out whether I'll be able to run it, and I know the retail is going to be a bit different from the demo. It's always a bit disappointing when you get to that first game your rig can't run - no problems prior to this point, and I haven't even really needed to turn down the settings in most games. I guess I'll fiddle with the demo some more - played single player a bit last night, though multiplayer is supposedly much more taxing.

I play BF2 on my 3.2 ghz ati 9600 1024 5680, On medium it runs a little bit choppy, with aa off, But in the demo i could run with med/2x aa, and this is on 64 player servers, It runs okay, not fantastic, but its playable.

5680 with 2.8, a 60 gig 7500 rpm HD, gig of 400 mhz and i run medium with everything on medium, AA on x2, dynamic shadows on high, lighting on high with view distance all the way upzorz, and i get about 40 frames....i couldnt ask for anything nicer than that, so im damn happy with the setup (then again, i defrag all the time, have a registry cleaner, use Tunexp) so take care of your system and throw away all the junk you dont need, and you should run it fine

as for the demo, EA even said that it wasnt optimised for ram usage, so the retail version SHOULD use ram better than the demo (thats what i hear at least)

As stated, BF2 retail is very playable on a 5680. My 5680 (specs in sig) is a bit choppy (as someone said earlier) on medium settings so I play on low settings because I want all the FPS I can get with it being a relatively fast paced game. However, low settings still looks pretty darn good Medium is playable also, albeit a bit less responsive with respect to mouse movements.

What resolution and drivers? I wasn't getting more than about 25 fps with that near same setup.
