Ship Date: Saturday, June 25, 2005

They shipped nearly 1 week before the estimated ship date. This is for my Inspiron 6000.

Now I'm happy that it shipped so soon, but kind of worried

They usually ship early. They have a built in buffer for the estimated ship date, just in case something gets delayed.

Why would you be worried about this? They almost always ship earlier than they say.

I recieved my 700m 6 days after I ordered it.

I think that the boxing stage also includes shipping it from Malaysia to the US.

If it's not a brand new 'just introduced today model', Dell is pretty good about getting it to you well before the estimated arrival time. Last year about this time I ordered a 600m on a Monday, it got to me in one week. Last week, I ordered a 700m and I received it on Friday. The 600m was with regular/standard shipping, the 700m was with overnight shipping. Not bad considering they're built to order on the other side of the world
