Any recommendations on a laptop desk/cooler?

Anyone have recommendations on a laptop desk or cooler for the Dell Inspirion 9300? I like using the computer on my lap and would like to have something to sit it on to protect me from pressing into the power jack and breaking it. Something to keep the heat off me would be good too.

I saw the iLap notebook desk by Raindesign for $70. It looks real nice, but was wondering what other people use or could recommend.

Thanks

Go to www.newegg.com and search for "notebook cooler."

Thanks for pointing me to newegg.com, I hadn't thought about looking there. However, I am more interested in some insight from people with the Dell Inspirion 9300 or XPS about what they use since these are larger notebooks than what most desks/coolers are designed for.

That looks like a good one -- the Coolermaster Notepal. Newegg sells it link too. A reviewer says it's too small for their 9300 because the front part is 3". I wonder how far the 9300 hangs off the back.

I've seen the Evercool and others like it. Prices are great, but they seem to be better for a smaller laptop. Dell says the 9300 measurements are
Width: 15.5-inches (394 mm)
Depth: 11.3-inches (287 mm)

The evercool is smaller at
325 x 263 x 18 (mm)

That would probably be ok on a desk, but I wonder if it being smaller would make it a hassle to put on your lap.

This is the one I'm using. I found it better than some of the ones above. USB powered too. http://www.xpcgear.com/vantec301.html

My local FRY's had them for $24.00

I use a Targus Coolpad when I have mine on my lap. It raises the rear of the notebook for better airflow. It is smaller than the 9300. I just place it in the middle between the two fans.

I'm going to make my own one with 2 Delta fans
