Recently installed 77.72 drivers from laptopvideo2go and just wanted to give a little update from my last 3dMark05 drivers 71.70 to v77.72.

v71.70 - 2052
v77.72 - 2111

4 Months and running strong (:!

did you try any overclock or something

i dont believe that he did any Oc on the machine. that is stock with the different drivers if i am correct and they certainly are good scores.

I also upgraded to the 77.72 drivers on my M40-YP3. My 3DMark03 score went from 4772 to 5512. I also noticed a huge improvement in UT 2004.
Very nice.

No OC'ing at all, I don't have a proper cooling pad anyways. Just to risky during the hot summers of T.O. nVidia 80.xx drivers are starting to appear as they release the 78xx chip series. Hope to see more improvements in the near future. (=

improvement is never a bad thing. i do love seeing scores go up that much with just a simple driver update, and we can only hope that they go even farther in the future. those are all some good scores for stock hardware and i am glad to see that you are doing well with them. let the gaming continue.

Sorry for the stupid question, but I was wondering exactly how I find the 77.72 driver that will work on my M40. I looked in laptopvideo2go but am unsure which driver it is. I'd really appreciate a direct link, or specific direction.

Nevermind, I figured it out . Got the driver updated to 77.72. So far it works, now it's time to try BF2 and see if there are any improvements.
Nice to have this kind of website to point me in the right direction!

Question for you guys about the drivers:

Do you have to mod any of the files or anything like that before you install those drivers?
Univercity,
The drivers can be downloaded from the laptopvideo2go.com forum at:
http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/forum/...showtopic=7379
In order to install these drivers, you only need to download the v77.72 driver file as well as "Pieter's mobile INF modified for v77.72". The INF file can be copied into the folder containing the driver files, and the driver will then work on any Nvidia notebook video card. No more modification need be done.

Ok!

That's exactly what I needed to know, thanks a lot Steve.

I'll give that a whirl.

I got a score of 4862 for 3D Mark 03...Is that low? I know i'm a bit off topic but was wondering if u could help...Everything stock...Will new drivers help? Also, how can i tell what clock speed and stuff is the card?

My specs are 1.6Ghz Centrino, 1Gb of ram and 6600 Go 64MB

Hmm, I'm guessing all these drivers have modified is the Mobile GPU checker turned off. I just got DHZeroPoint drivers installed and I'm getting OK results with them. They're tunned for gaming performance so that means they are superior to the ones released by LaptopVideo2Go?

never herd of them... which drivers are they based off of?
DHZeroPoint

Current build: 76.44 and 71.89, Catalyst 5.6

I don't know how they stack up to laptopvideo2go, but I know that they fixed all my BF2 problems, increased my fps from the latest official Forceware Go, and saved me when Omegas couldn't recognize my card.

Um, got latest drivers, 5103...But nothing like the other guy's 5500+ rating on 3dmaro 03...Wat am i doing wrong? Can't be that much different right? Or is the latest driver actually slower....Got mine from laptop2go as well
