I currently have 50 processes running at start up. I need tham all under normal cercumstances but when i game i have to go though all this "End Process" crap and it gets old. then when im done gaming i have to go find all the processes i ended and start them back up again. Is there a program out there that can, at the press of a button, kill all the processes i want. then when done i click another button and it loads them all back? I know there a batch file out there that does similar but im not too familiar with those.
thanks

Advanced Uninstaller Pro lets you have customized startup and services, although you have to restart between selections.

There is a free demo.

that's to kill your tasks.

To make a batch file that starts them again, make a file called starttask.bat and rightclick-> edit it with the following

Code:
c:\\folder\\that\\program\\is\\in\\program.exe

add as many lines as necessary

As others have suggested, you can probably kill at least half of the processes you have running now....

I have about 60 processes running normally on my PC, and it runs fine. A lot of them are virus checkers (PC Cillin only, but it has several processes), servers (Apache and MySQL), and other system tools (e.g. Daemon Tools).

Damn the Dual Boot or Stopping Process.

Just Create a New Hardware Profile and Configure that to your liking. Disable all the services you dont need.
