Shipping Times?

Hey there! I just purchased my first Macintosh system! It is a refurbished 12" 1.33 Ghz, 256mb ram, Combo drive, etc. The only problem is the wait! I am wondering how long it is going to take for Apple to get it out of their building and onto the road to my house?

I bought a build to order 15" powerbook from their online store a couple weeks ago and the total time from ordering to getting to my house was 6 days(ordered it on friday, received it following thursday). I was very surprised since I thought it'd take longer for BTO.

Well I ordered it last Wednesday so I am keeping my fingers crossed for this week!

I ordered my 15" on the 20th and it is suppose to arrive the 29th. So ~10 days. Since yours is a refurb they don't have to change any of the parts, I would assume it would be sent out the same day.

Where can I find the refurbed systems anyway?

You go to the Apple Website>Click on Store Tab>On Right side if you scroll down a little bit their should be a red tag saying "Sale". Click on that and there is a pretty big selection of Systems.

Check out the Sale section every day- there is always something new, and sometimes you can get systems very, very cheap.

Yes you can find very cheap prices there! My Powerbook was only $1100! I was amazed at how cheap it was.
