sometimes when i watch xivd's i get a strange line go across the video

kinda like this

almost like a sperator. when it apears its like the images fickers above and below it.

im wondering if any of u have experianced this and if its something to do with the refresh rate of the monitor? (i think its a 60hz). I know i should connect up an external but my only one is fairly inacessable.

any help is apreciated and will be reped
