Trouble installing new Nvidia drivers (77.30/50)

Hello all,

I've been having some serious chop issues with GTA: San Andreas, which I definitely shouldn't be--it's not a resource-hungry game, especially for a 9860. I decided to try updating my nvidia drivers but once the install shield loads, I get an error mesage: "Setup could not locate any drivers that are compatibale with the current hardware. Setup will now exit"

I've tried using the driver update that comes with BF2 (77.30) and the download from nvidia.com (77.50) with the same result.

Anyone else having this problem or know of a solution??

Go to the www.laptopvideo2go.com . there you can find all the drivers for the geforce GO cards. the drivers that are in the nvidia site DON'T support the mobile cards. So the only way is : once a driver is released go to the site above and download it. and there you can find also the modified inf which ou should replace it with the original one . You can find the inf for every driver that is out. Every driver has its own inf. good luck!

1- Download the Driver Cleaner Pro ver. 1.2 from www.driverheaven.net
2-Download the latest driver from www.laptopvideo2go.com (go in the forum section and download the driver version 77.72 the official drivers are safer to use )
3- Download the drivers ( in this case 77.72 ) modified inf which you can find on the driver download page ( peters modified mobile inf )
4-Unpack the drivers in a folder and replace ( overwrite ) the original inf with the modified inf
5-Install the driver cleaner
6-Uninstall the Nvidia Drivers form control panel Add\Remove Progs
8-Reboot and before entering windows press f8 and select safe mode
9- Enter the windows and run driver cleaner. choose nvidia and select clean. when cleaning finished reboot.
10- Install the new drivers and reboot.
11- Ur Done!!
