-Light weight (compared to similar spec'd notebooks). Its probably the smallest possible while still having a full size keyboard, 8X DualLayer DVD, x600....
-Nice features (not missing bluetooth, svideo, memory card reader, firewire)
-Pretty, shiny screen (At first I didnt know if the glossy screen would be a pro or a con, but I do like it) the 1280x768 res is just right for the size.
-Good battery life (2:45-4:00 depending on settings/use)
-Aluminum lid, overall design, build quality.
-3 Years warranty (2 if not in N.America)
-and many more I cant think of right now.
-System does get quite warm especially when gaming, on the right part of the pamrest, over the hard drive, and under. And warm/hot air blows out the vent on the right.
-Vertical viewing angle of LCD is not so great, but not that bad either.
(those my only real CONs, everything else is just being kind of picky)
FN button in corner of keyboard, not ctrl
Battery doesnt fit perfectly (it is offset about 1/32" and jiggles slightly).
DVD burner doesnt seem to hit its maximum speed, but I guess this is usual for laptop optical drives. (at least with CDRs which is all I used)
anyway, If you havent read my review I posted a month back or so, search for robotchicken review. That was written only a week after I got the laptop though.
