dual screen

hows everyone doin??? i have a 5670 and i hooked up a 15" lcd to it and for some reason i cant get the resolution for the lcd monitor to match the one of the laptop... currently im running 1600x1200 on the lappie and 1024x768... could someone help me out...

Is the 15 inch lcd even capable of running at that resolution?

Most of the 15" LCD's I've seen are 1024x768 native resolution.

I've been able to run the output of my 5680 at 1600x1200, but it only displays 1024x768 of the pixels at a time on my 15". You end up with a desktop area that goes well beyond the edge of your screen, and if you move your mouse off the edge of the screen the display scrolls with it.

The other option is to bring the res on your laptop down to 1024 to match.
