6800 Go Successful Bios Flash - Page 22

I have searched this forum a couple times (plus google and some other forums), but i have some questions. First: Can you overclock more on a nv42 if you add more voltage?
how do you edit the voltage settings for a go 6800 in a i9300... yagiska said you could.
I went to the premade bios page...its for ultra's. I would just like to know what is the best way to o/c the go 6800. I have done bios flashes before, and overclocking. im just completely confused as to what i should do.

maybe its just the excitement of knowing that my laptop is coming tommorow that is not allowing me to understand all this. Dell should offer short term anxiety counseling as part of their warranty service.

If you *TRY* to volt mod the card you will break it.

True that. I posted a thread asking this question awhile back and then I did some research. Seems like the circuitry on the 6800Go's can't handle anymore, so you'd fry it.

9300 Volt Mod using NiBiTor

I searched for days to find out that no one has posted any info on volt mod geforce 6800 go. So i tried it myself using NiBiTor. I moved the 1.1 volt's to 1.2, 1.3, 1.4, 1.45 by using the voltage table editor in NiBiTor. I made and saved several Bios's with different voltages and flashed them with NVflash. With little effect in my small increases i jumped to 1.2 and 1.3 simply using the voltage table editor and changing the 3d voltage settings again. My GPU temp went up about 2-3 degrees with each .1 volt increase so i believe this would confirm volt mod working. I increased it all the way to 1.45 however found that 1.3 ran the best. I tested using ATi tool to monitor for artifacts and rivatuner to monitor/graph GPU temp. Now my cards runs stabler at higher clock speeds with less artifaces and my 3dmark05 score went up vs using the lower voltage at same clock. Hope this helps people. Are there any other tricks i should know about to get higher clock speeds besides the volt mod.. help me out please h1me@mail.com...
