Hypersonic/A.B.S Support Quality

Ok... first off.. do not take this post as an invatation to duel other uses on "who has a better this or that" type thing.... this is simply a post for information.. more importantly to inform ME

I have, of course, narrowed my notebook down to the Asus z71v base model but I do not want to buy it direct from an Asus Reseller. I am thinking of choosing either A.B.S. Mayhem G4 or Hypersonic Aviator MX6. I know each system I want have nearly the same specs (2.0GHz P-M Sonoma, 1GB DDR SDRAM, Nvidia GeForce Go 6600 w/ 128mb Ded VRAM), the only exception is that the H.S has a 60GB 7200RPM HDD and the A.B.S. has a 60GB 5400RPM HDD. This causes me to lean more on the H.S. product.

Too help me decide which is better, I need help from people that own the systems and have dealt with not only the system itself but the service and support aspect of the brands.

I would like to know your experiences on the support quality from the company, either A.B.S or Hypersonic and post them, good or bad. This will help me, and hopefully others decide on a notebook.

p.s ~ I'm just curious. Does H.S. put product stickers on their notebooks (such as Intel Centrino logo, Windows logo, Nvidia logo, etc.)? Thanks.

I have a HyperSonic Aviator MX6 (Fire Mist Pearl Paint), and it is an excellent machine. HyperSonic's sales and tech support staff and very helpful and friendly. It is one of those situations where there may not be a high number of support people, but the ones you do talk to actually know and understand the machines without reading through a tech support script. Also, on the Aviator MX6, the warranty upgrade prices seem like a steal now.

HyperSonic does not place any stickers on painted notebooks. Also, if I am not mistaken, I do not believe they place any stickers on the non-painted systems either. I would check with them to confirm this however in regards to non-painted systems.

Ok... thanks Dennis... yeah I thought that a 3 Year Platinum Warranty for about an extra $70 is excellent..

Yes, that is a great price. I don't know if it is limited time pricing or not. It is the only HyperSonic Aviator model with that low of price for a warranty upgrade.
