router problem

im having a problem with my router. Im at relatives house and set up a wireless router here and i can connect and view pages just fine. But on the there desktop computer it can ping any page and get a reply so i know the dns is working and its getting out. yet when i open IE or Firefox it cant connect to any pages at all?? can anyone help me out with this? thanks

btw i forgot to mention that there desktop computer doesnt have a statically assigned ip and its using the router as the default gateway.

Try to connect using IP addresses to make sure it's not the dns. Bring down the firewall on the desktop as well.
