My Smokin' Lappy!

The price I paid for this wonderful machine is nothing! I had to borrow it form work as I am away on business...until I get my Sentia(After our move!) PentiumIII 700 Mhz, 20 GB Hard Drive, 128MB RAM, 8 lbs of weight before battery. It even comes with its very own "Blue Screen of Death!"

Wow, I almost forgot the latest isn't "paid off" yet.

The company I work for has a PC Purchase Plan. Give HR an official quote from any manufacturer (even Dell!), and they cut you a check up to $2,500.00. Subsequently you have to demonstrate a receipt. This no interest "advance" is paid in 18 months auto out of each paycheck.

A great plan for me...and AW.

My rig ordered in Dec. '04 cost $2229.56 with a rebate for shipping of $119 that I haven't recieved yet

Called AW right after this post. "My rebate check has been approved". It typically takes 12-24 weeks to process. I told her I mailed it in lat Jan '05 so its been over 20 weeks. Response "Well it should be going out soon"
