help fast with notebook video card!!

Ok, i want to get a 6800 ultra video card for my notebook, but i do quite a bit of 3d work too, so i think i should go with the quadro 1400 fx, should i??

Will the Quadro lower my benchmarks for gamings?? or is it the same like the 6800 ultra??

Now please, only respond if you know what you are talking about. Not just because you "Think" i want a person who know his stuff or had expirience with the FX card before

Thank You!!!

i "think" you shoulnd't look at benchmarks as much as how it actually performs in real gaming, which should be pretty good. It all depends on which one you want more, i guess, gaming or 3d work.

The cards are marketed toward different sectors, but both will work well for either purpose. As a side note, the Ultra version of the 6800 will outperform the Quadro in gaming benchmarks. The Quadro is the equivalent of a "standard" 6800.

so guess the quadro is the way to go, it can run games like a 6800 and 3d work.

so two in one!!

it really depends how u optomise the quadro, if u do it correctly, then u can make it run games quite well. But the quadro should be able to pump out more pollies.

check out the alienware section jclause is very good with drivers.
