About the ASUS Z70V Refresh Model

I was wondering about the battery life...it's gonna be shorter because of the X700 gpu, right? Also, is it at all possible (do you think) to kinda underclock stuff (ie the gpu, I guess...) to get some more juice out of the battery (I dunno if I really wanna buy another battery; that's why I'm asking)? That's for when I'm not gonna be playing games at all, but actually, probably just surfing the net, or doing some word processing, or something.
THANKS

If you're not really going to be doing any gaming and you're concerned of the X700's effect on battery life, why not just get a regular Z70V?

You won't have to wait, if you do.

I want to get the notebook for its gaming potential; I will be gaming w/ it, but obviously not every minute I have it, there are other things you can do w/ the notebook.

And, the underclocking, as opposed to the overclocking, won't have any possible negative effects on the notebook, will it (ie possiblity of overheating or something)?
